Our approach


Synapse Executive Search follows a very strict ethical code in its work:

  • We work only with a limited number of clients in each market, so as to ensure maximum latitude in the search assignments we undertake for our clients ;
  • We never approach employees of client firms within two years of signing a contract for a search assignment ;
  • We ensure that our clients are kept informed of the search process through summary and detailed reporting ;
  • We guarantee complete confidentiality when it comes to the identity of our clients, as well as their previous and current search needs, unless otherwise agreed ;
  • We keep to the timetable agreed at the start of the assignment. In the event of unforeseen challenges, we ensure that our client is well informed at an early stage so that we may agree on additional or alternative approaches ;
  • We never undertake similar search assignments for different clients at the same time ;
  • In the event that a client or candidate should terminate a contract of employment within four months of the candidate taking up duty (for reasons other than financial considerations), Synapse Executive Search undertakes to search for a new candidate without charging additional fees ;
  • We base our choices and selection solely on competencies. No consideration is given to the origin, appearance, sex, religion or age of candidates in the advice that we offer our clients ;
  • We give knowledgeable, constructive and transparent feedback to all candidates, regardless of whether they are selected for a given role ;
  • We do our utmost to ensure that we are available to listen to and advise our clients and our candidates.
